The set up consists of two feed tanks through which two reactants are fed to the reactor. Rotameters are provided to measure the individual flow of Chemicals. The flow rate can be adjusted by operating the needle valves provided on respective Rotameter. The compressed air is used for circulation of feed. A straight tube type reactor kept horizontally and inclined upward at outlet from where samples are collected for analysis. ROLL CRUSHER

FLOW THROUGH HELICAL COIL
Helical coils are used for heating or cooling in process tanks. When a fluid flows through a curved tube, centrifugal force acting upon the various elements of fluid moving with different velocities causes secondary circulation. Secondary flow results in higher heat transfer characteristics. Further, secondary flow stabilizes the laminar flow leading to a higher critical Reynolds number for transition from laminar to turbulent flow.
