Lagging of pipe is required to prevent leakages of heat. The equipment is designed to study the lagging phenomenon. In this equipment three concentric pipes are arranged between two supports. The gap between the pipes are filed compactly by two different insulting materials and heater is provided at the centre of inner pipe. Temperatures at various points are measured with Temperature Indicator. Heat input is measured by Voltmeter – Ammeter.
